Evripidou Art 23/2-24/3

“Human forms interact with the
environment to create a dialogue with it”,
say Nikos Vavdinoudis about his highly
theatrical photoshoot. Focusing on the
tradition of bell-wearing in the villages of
the Drama and Kavala regions, and with
the cultural associations taking centre
stage, the exhibition portrays the ancient
symbols to ward off evil. The photographs,
distinguished in the Travel Photographer
of the Year competition (TPOTY), will
be presented in Αthens at Evripidou
Art Gallery. | «Οι ανθρώπινες μορφές
παίζουν με το γύρω περιβάλλον και
δημιουργούν ένα διάλογο με αυτό» λέει ο
Νίκος Βαβδινούδης για τη συγκλονιστικά
θεατρική του φωτογράφιση. Με θέμα
τo έθιμο της κωδωνοφορίας σε χωριά
των νομών Δράμας και Καβάλας και
με πρωταγωνιστές τους πολιτιστικούς
συλλόγους, η έκθεση αποτυπώνει
τους αρχαίους συμβολισμούς για την
αποφυγή του κακού. Οι φωτογραφίες
που διακρίθηκαν στο διαγωνισμό Travel
Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) θα
παρουσιαστούν και στην Αθήνα στην
