The Big Apple’s celebrated museum is
hosting an exhibition with the works of three
American photography giants. Featuring
115 photographs that are among the Met’s
greatest photographic treasures, this exhibition

Το 1928, η δωρεά 22 φωτογραφιών από τον
Alfred Stieglitz στο Metropolitan Museum σή-
μανε την ανάδειξη της φωτογραφίας ως έρ-
γου τέχνης. Έτσι ξεκίνησε η συλλογή φωτο-
γραφικών έργων από το μουσείο και κατέλη-
ξε στη σημερινή συλλογή του, που περιλαμ-
βάνει και τις 115 εξαιρετικές φωτογραφίες
των τριών πρωτοπόρων Αμερικανών φωτο-
γράφων των αρχών του 20ού αιώνα.
