The New Acropolis Museum

This exhibition, created in co-operation with the
Organisation for the Construction of the New Acropolis
Museum and hosted in a specially-designed area
of the Main Terminal Building, aims to promote
the museum’s significant cultural achievement.
Presenting the various phases of construction, the
exhibition also includes cast copies of the western
frieze of the Parthenon and of the Euthydikos’s
daughter statue, photographic material of the
exhibits and areas of the new museum, as well as
a four-minute DVD presentation of the Acropolis
museum, a perfect introduction or epilogue to your
visit. | Σε ειδικά διαμορφωμένο χώρο στεγάζεται
αυτή η σημαντική έκθεση που δημιουργήθηκε σε
συνεργασία με τον Οργανισμό Ανέγερσης του Νέου
Μουσείου της Ακρόπολης, με σκοπό την προβολή
της σπουδαίας πολιτιστικής συμβολής του μουσεί-
ου. Η έκθεση αυτή παρουσιάζει τα διαδοχικά στά-
δια κατασκευής του μουσείου, ενώ περιλαμβάνει
αντίγραφα λιθων της δυτικής ζωφόρου του Παρθε-
νώνα και της κόρης του Ευθύδικου, καθώς επίσης
φωτογραφίες εκθεμάτων και χώρων του νέου μου-
σείου. Παράλληλα, μια προβολή τεσσάρων λεπτών
σχετικά με το νέο Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης γίνεται
ιδανική εισαγωγή (ή επίλογος) στην επίσκεψή σας.
