In the last two years, OFC reduced its fees by 30% allowing airlines to save more than 3.2 million Euros Athens International Airport S.A. (AIA) and Olympic Fuel Company S.A. (OFC), continuing their joint effort to support airlines and enhance competitiveness of aviation fuel price at the Airport, announce - for the second time in 12 months - an additional 4% reduction of the throughput fee charged by OFC, effective as of July 1st. More specifically, the throughput fee will be reduced from 12.80 to 12.30 Euros per thousand litres. The new 4% throughput fee reduction is expected to save airlines refuelling at AIA save approximately 300,000 Euros on an annual basis. Additionally, further to OFC’s managing to reduce its service fees by 30% within the last two years, respective savings for airlines atAthens International Airport will surpass 3.2 million Euros.
